SPECIAL 2 day Training course: The course both comprises of and extends beyond the standard 1 day training in GC21 Cooperative based Contracting for the Construction Sector. Included is greater detail, examples and opportunity for discussion on experiences of practical implementation of Contract Management based on the GC21 General Conditions of Contract. The course explores opportunities to better understand and meet the higher standards and expectations of collaborative contracting from a multi-stakeholder perspective within the context of the contract and organisation culture. The distinctions between cooperation and collaboration are clarified including options and approaches accessible to the parties to significantly improve process and outcomes. Examples of Collaboration standards and models are presented with direct relevance to GC21 Contract Management. Collaborative behaviour - the Human element is elaborated with practical models for supporting effective collaboration to meet optimal project and business outcomes.
